They might be supermodels, but they're also social media stars. W magazine has selected the 10 sexiest women for its August, Pop issue, in which women such as Chrissy Teigen, Bella Hadid and Lily Aldridge strip down to show readers a side of themselves they wouldn't normally see on their social media profiles.
Other models featured in the spread are Emily Ratajkowski, Joan Smalls, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Irina Shayk, Anna Ewers, Barbara Palvin and Doutzen Kroes.
Teigen, who has become well known for her outspoken demeanor, strikes a sultry pose for the mag's glossy pages. Wearing no shirt with her breasts fully on display, John Legend's wife stares off into the distance with a with a snarky facial expression. Lace-up boots and oversized white panties are the only two pieces of clothing that make up her outfit, but the model admits inside the magazine that less is more.
"The most uncomfortable I've ever been on set was having to model coats," she confesses. "I actually am better in less clothing."
Victoria's Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated model Lily Aldridge has about 2.2 million Instagram followers and admits if she has "a sleepless night, I check my Instagram." But based on her spread (pun totally intended) for the magazine's "Privacy Settings" shoot, Aldridge fully intends to keep all her followers completely engaged. The supermodel stares seductively into the camera while she places her hand right on top of her lady parts.
Age is merely just a number in this photo shoot, as 17-year-old Hadid also strips down for "Privacy Settings." Holding a cigarette while wearing no pants, the model, who is now dating The Weeknd, holds one leg up in the air to show off her full-size Eres briefs. She pairs the undies with a sea-foam green Prada sweater. Whether it's her pose or the way the photo is shot, Gigi Hadid's sister hardly looks her age!
As for why W fashion director Edward Enninful took the shoot in this sexual direction, he says, "With social media as their platform for expression, models captivate audiences in new ways, their power to seduce—fans and brands alike—stronger than ever."
