Can they live?

You might not believe it because of how much he's dominated the press the last few years, but it's actually been quite awhile since Justin Bieber actually released a song. You know, his job? The thing he's famous for?

Today's release of "Where Are Ü Now" is his first new music video since "Confident" way back in early 2014. (And, if we want to get really nitpicky, we'd point out that "Where Are Ü Now" was done in collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo so it's not even his own solo project, but we'll let that slide.)

You would think some fans would be wary of the fact that the artist has been sliding by on his laurels for the better part of 18 months, but it seems his musical absence has only worked to make the Beliebers even hungrier for new material.

As Beliebers are wont to do, the fans took to Twitter immediately to flood the feed with reactions, praise and downright crazy sentiment. It's never a dull moment with these guys.

What really seemed to strike a chord with the Beliebers was the music video's use of seemingly fan-produced art. The public has deemed it as the "most creative music video ever" with observations like "this video is gonna get so many awards this year" and "THIS CLOSE UP OF HIS EYES MADE ME STARE RIGHT INTO HIS SOUL OMG."

It was truly hard to pick our favorite messages from the fans, since each was more sensitive, thoughtful and scary than the last. In the end we simply collected those that could only be most accurately described as Truth Bombs. We're so glad the Beliebers are back.
