Well, this isn't exactly airing your dirty laundry, but it is airing something. And it's definitely dirty.

Winnipeg Police have apologized after an inappropriate conversation between some officers was broadcast for a number of residents to hear. And we mean, inappropriate. They were talking about blowjobs.

Winnipeg's police helicopter Air1 was doing a routine patrol on Monday night when the public-address system was somehow flipped on (oopsie!), and everyone on the ground was treated to the colorful, yet private conversation taking place between the officers aboard.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a recording of what was said, but the officers allegedly threw in "some swears and some references to money," and put the offer of oral sex on the table, which was then shut down because of "too much body hair."

So you can just take that and do what you want with it.

A spokesperson for the Winnipeg Police Department, Constable Jason Michalyshen, held a press conference Tuesday to discuss the situation, via the Winnipeg Free Press.

"We're sincerely apologetic about it. We're going to review the situation, I can assure you, and members of the executive are very much aware of the sensitivity and the nature of what was broadcast, and they will be looking into it and ultimately make a determination from there," he said.

The three officers in the helicopter couldn't hear their own broadcast and didn't immediately realize the loudspeaker was on, turning it off a few minutes later. The police service is still trying to find out whether human error or a technical mishap was responsible for the accidental broadcast, Michalyshen added.

The X-rated gaffe also caused a conversation on Twitter, and even became a trending topic with the hashtag "#whoops."
