Former Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes shared on Friday photos of herself breastfeeding her 10-month-old baby daughter Myllena.
"Sweet dreams," she wrote on Instagram. "#blessed."
The 30-year-old Dutch model also shared a split photo featuring the same image alongside one of her Victoria's Secret catalogue photos, which shows her in a fancy bra, and paraphrases a quote from late philosopher, University of Chicago political science professor and feminist writer Iris Marion Young.
Her original comments are featured in her 2005 book On Female Body Experience: "Throwing Like a Girl" and Other Essays (Studies in Feminist Philosophy) and states, "I ask how women's breasts might be experienced in the absence of an objectifying male gaze, and I discuss how breasts are a scandal for patriarchy because they disrupt the border between motherhood and sexuality."
Kroes was also pictured breastfeeding her baby girl in a gorgeous photo shoot for Vogue Netherlands' March 2015 issue. She was shown nursing the child while sitting in bed beside husband DJ Sunnery James, 36, and their 4-year-old son, Phyllon, at their home in New York.
In April, Kroes Instagrammed a pic of herself pumping breast milk, part of her daily routine.
"I'm promoting breastfeeding," she wrote. "It's the best for your baby when possible! #breastfeeding #breastpump #breastfeedingmom #breastfeedingawareness."
