Ellie Goulding is joining the leagues of Mac Cosmetics beauties as its latest spokesmodel and collaborator for the upcoming Mac x Ellie Goulding collection.
"Oi oi SO excited to finally share what I've been working on with @MACcosmetics!!! #MACEllieGoulding drops in Dec/Jan!," the 28-year-old captioned her Instagram post, accompanied with a follow up another close up shot of beauty goods from the upcoming collaboration.
The announcement comes on the heels of speculation that Caitlyn Jenner would serve as the brand's latest celebrity ambassador. Which would make perfect sense, considering her undeniably glamorous Vanity Fair cover.
And while Caitlyn would certainly be a worthy addition to the slew of Mac Cosmetics' spokesmodel alums—the likes of which include Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Lorde to name a few—she's not onboard with the beauty brand… yet.
"M.A.C. Cosmetics is a brand that embraces ALL AGES, ALL RACES and ALL SEXES and is a longstanding supporter of the LGBT community. We are inspired by Caitlyn Jenner, her personal journey and we admire her courage and beauty. We have not signed Caitlyn as a spokesperson for M.A.C.," the beauty brand told E! News exclusively.
True, we can't wait to get our hands on the British songstress' latest beauty collaboration, launching this December. But (fingers crossed), there's always next seasons' Mac campaign, Caitlyn!
