There's a true travesty happening within the fast food industry, and you need to know about it.

The executives who run our favorite drunk eating establishments are trying to make their menus completely unrecognizable, and it's time to put a stop to this immediately. First Chipotle decided to cut out GMOs, and now Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are stepping in line to ruin our collective appetites. That's right, never again will you be able to order a personal pan pizza or Gordita in the hopes of eating artificial chemicals—you're now going to be forced to take your bean burrito with (gasp!) real ingredients.

According to an announcement this morning, the fast food companies have pledged to go "natural" and get rid of all its previously-used artificial and flavors. That means that instead of "black pepper flavor" in your seasoned beef, you're going to have to eat actual black pepper. Do these people even know what we're going to Taco Bell for? If we wanted to go all natural we'd stay home and eat leaves thankyouverymuch.

And even worse, Taco Bell has also decided to phase out trans fats and high fructose corn syrup by the end of the year. Apparently there's some sort of "national movement" to "not poison restaurant customers" or whatever. But all we know is that our beloved Crunchwrap Supreme is not going to taste the same without trans fats. Next they'll be trying to sell us on cheese from an actual cow.

But we're not alone in our misery—our dedicated Taco Bell brethren stand beside us during this tough time.

Luckily, we still have the Doritos Locos tacos to rely on—for now. It's only a matter of time until the industry conspires to take that away from us, too. These are dark times.
