Zac Efron has finally given us what we've all been waiting for: His presence on the silver screen.

The official trailer for his upcoming movie, We Are Your Friends, has dropped, and it combines a few of our favorite passions: Zac, music and movies. It's as if all of our dreams are coming true! The film follows Cole (Zac), an aspiring DJ who tries to make it Calvin Harris-big in the music industry.

"It's the DJ's job to get the crowd out of their heads and into their bodies," he explains in the voice over while the trailer shows scenes of people at a poolside dance party. Although he starts by matching the crowd's heartbeat at 125 BPM, he says 128 BPM is the "magic number."

Although he spends most of his time worrying about that "one track" that will launch him to fame, a mentor (Wes Bentley) takes him under his wing to try and teach him about the future of spinning and EDM.

"Any successful artist, they have this moment where they stop being an admirer and they find their signature," says Bentley, before launching Cole into to the world (and away from his laptop) to find his sound.

But like many movies that follow people trying to make it, Zac's character starts to struggle while dealing with his decaying friendships and an increasingly inappropriate relationship with his mentor's girlfriend (Emily Ratajkowski).

We Are Your Friends takes its name from the Justice vs. Simian song of the same name and also stars Jonny Weston, Shiloh Fernandez and Jon Bernthal. The Warner Bros. film hits theaters August 28.
