Let's be real: Celebrity kids can teach us a thing or two about style.

What they lack in life experience is more than compensated by way of fashion-forward parents with deep pockets—and a budding sense of style to boot. As full-grown adults, we're not above taking style cues from these little ones. Of course, we'll have to put a mature spin things, but now, you too can be as cool as North or chic as Harper—no birthright required.

With a fashion designer for a mother and a Calvin Klein model for a father, there's no wonder why the youngest of the Beckham clan captures attention (including that of Ms. Anna Wintour) everywhere she goes. Here, Harper Beckham is prim and proper with a Burberry trench dress. For those of us with a little bit more mileage under the belt, opt for an oversize vest—an underestimated but versatile closet staple. Dress it up with a pencil skirt and stilettos or down with distressed jeans, a tee, and some very cool kicks.

Marni Oversized Cotton Vest, $1,760; Kenzo Gold Leather Sneakers, $300; Uniqlo Women Supia cotton Modal Crew Neck Short Sleeve T, $12.90; Milly Astor Drawstring Bucket Bag, $365; The High Riser Distressed Skinny Jeans, $130

Just a toddler and North West is already a master of monochrome. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's adorable daughter was front-row ready at the Alexander Wang show in a studded, all-black ensemble. The key here is to mix and match different textures and shades of the principle color. If the dress is flowy and lightweight, opt for a more structured topper. Just don't forget to add a pop of color with statement accessories.

At a young age, we can go full-blown sequence without batting an adorable eyelash. For a more subtle and age-appropriate look, opt for materials with a little less shine but sustains the same wow-factor, like jacquard. Harper Burtka-Harris, daughter of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, paired her frock with tights and a headband, but you can update the look with a tailored blazer, flat clutch and the accessories du jour, barrettes.
