Travis Barker seems to be handling the healing process like a rock star.

The former Blink-182 drummer bravely ventured out for the first time Thursday since his release last week from the hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for the burns he sustained in the Sept. 19 plane crash that claimed the lives of four people.

The 32-year-old dad was spotted lovingly carrying his daughter, Alabama, as the two made their way into L.A.'s Marmalade Cafe, his left leg in bandages and signs of scarring on his right (see video above).

Both Barker and his friend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, the only other crash survivor, are expected to make full recoveries.
