Sometimes shows hit a slump and come out of it, but other times there are forces that are out of their hands. One such case was Glee, in which Cory Monteith's death made it hard for the show to turnaround.

Kevin McHale, who played wheelchair-bound Artie on the hit show, appeared on The HuffPost Show and confessed that he felt the musical series wasn't able to come back after Monteith passed away.

"When Cory Monteith died, I don't think the show ever came back from that," he said. "It wasn't for a lack of trying...I think after that the vibe onset is different. It was just weird for us being there never mind actually filming. Being one of the writers in that sort of situation I wouldn't know what I would've done because I was like 'I don't even really want to be here.'"

Although Glee ended, hosts Roy Sekoff and Marc Lamont Hill asked the actor whether or not there would be a spinoff to the show featuring Lea Michele. They said they had heard rumors indicating that there could be, but McHale revealed that there probably wouldn't be one.

"Towards the end, there weren't that many people watching Glee. So I don't know how many people would then watch a spinoff," he said. "We're off the air for a reason."

It would probably be a little difficult to film a spinoff anyway because Michele has since begun filming Ryan Murphy's new horror-comedy series, Scream Queens, which will debut sometime this fall. The show will be a satire about a killer stalking a college sorority, but the series will also pay homage to the slasher films of the ‘80s. Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan have also teamed up on the project.

Some of Hollywood's young stars are also set to appear on the forthcoming show, including Emma RobertsAriana Grande and Nick Jonas. The "One More Time" singer and Michele have already posted about their fun times in New Orleans together.

"Fun 1st day on set! thank u queens for making me feel so welcome. y'all are everything @RobertsEmma @msleamichele @billielourd @yoabbaabba," the 21-year-old singer tweeted.
