Laverne Cox isn't the only Orange Is the New Black actress speaking out in support of Bruce Jenner.

"I thought he was remarkably brave, open and honest," Uzo Aduba told E! News Verizon HopeLine's Domestic Violence Program event in NYC. "He lived his truth."

She also gave kudos to Jenner's family. "I was encouraged to see his children supporting him and showing him so much love and encouragement," the Emmy-winner said. "And his mom and sister, that was so precious. It was nice to see what a supportive base he has."

Aduba also explained why she's lending her voice to raise awareness about domestic abuse. "The problem is, it's a quiet disease," she said. "Most of the time, no one knows it's happening. But it's become an epidemic and I think it's our responsibility—all of us—to bring the issue to the surface."

Of course, we couldn't let Aduba, who plays Suzanne aka "Crazy Eyes" on the hit Netflix series, go without asking for just a little scoop on season three, which kicks off on June 12. Are those prayer candles in the latest OITNB poster indicative of a new theme?

Aduba admitted that this season, show creator Jenji Kohan "is leaning on faith and belief."

"What's really exciting," she said, "is what that means for everybody. My character has always been an idol-worshipper. Every season, we've seen how she lifts people up and puts them on an altar. But there's a problem with that if they're not the God you think they are. So it will be interesting this season to see where she puts her faith."
