All hail Hota Kotb!
On Thursday's Lip Sync Battle, the Today co-anchor lent her talents to Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk"—don't believe me, just watch!
It wasn't easy to top her "Baby Got Back" performance, but Hoda managed to do it! Wearing gold chains, aviators, and a bandana underneath hat, Kathie Lee Gifford's BFF brought the funk, indeed! She was so good, in fact, her Lip Sync Battle rival Michael Strahan couldn't help but dance along.
The Live! With Kelly and Michael co-host held his own on the mic, too, when it was his turn to perform. His song of choice? "London Bridge," and he certainly made Fergie proud. He was booty-shaking, dropping down low and even got the audience involved. But unlike Hoda, Michael flubbed up a few of the lyrics.
This didn't go unnoticed! Michael lost to Hoda, who was understandably giddy about her win. "It was so fun to go head to head with Michael. We had a blast," she gushed. "I'm so excited, but I've got to tell you, getting this heavy metal belt—this Hulk Hogan friggin' belt—feels awesome."
Hoda and Michael join a growing list of celebs to compete on Lip Sync Battle. Mike Tyson's "Push It" was pretty unforgettable, John Krasinski's "Bye Bye Bye" was unbeatable, and a teaser of Justin Bieber's "Crazy Train" showed him wearing a wig and heavy eyeliner to look like Ozzy Osbourne.
It's a pretty fun show, to say the least! Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
