Dear Person Who Is Casting the New Live-Action Mulan Film,

You can just sit back and relax, the Internet has already done the job for you.

It's only been a day since Disney announced the exciting news that they're going to take on the 1998 animated flick as their next big screen project, but fans were quick to give their two cents on who should take on the lead role, and it's not a far-fetched choice.

Twitter users jumped on the social media website and began rallying to have actress Ming-Na Wen, who voiced the character for Mulan in the original Disney flick, reprise her role for the live-action film, because duh! It makes complete sense!

It looks like she's up for it, too! After seeing the large response, Wen tweeted, "Wow, so many tweets to @Disney announcement for a live-action #Mulan. Thank U4 wanting me 2B in the film! Tweet @DisneyPictures about it! xo."

And so the campaign to make Ming-Na Wen Mulan once again begins...

Disney has purchased a script from writing duo Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek with Chris Bender and J.C. Spink attached to produce the film, which centers on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, the female warrior who was the main character in the 1998 animated film.

No (official) casting details or release date has been announced.
