Most sons and daughters would die of embarrassment if their moms or dads went through the messages on their dating apps—except this young Irishman, who is willing to completely humiliate himself all for our own entertainment.
Earlier this week, Irish radio DJ Riyadh Khalaf uploaded a new video to his YouTube page, which sees his mother (who, is totally awesome, BTW) reading his raunchy Grindr messages on his cell phone (if you're unfamiliar with Grindr, it's a gay dating app).
Both equipped with a large glass of wine to help ease the awkward moments, Khalaf shares how he "downloaded Grindr" and "every night, religiously, for an hour" he would put his phone aside to let the messages roll in.
"So this is the very first time that I'm going to hear them and you're going to hear them, from her mouth," he explains as he points at his mum.
And as expected with the hook-up app, the dirty messages were a bit much for mom to handle.
"Want your [bleep] sucked?" she says, bursting into a fit of giggles before reading another, "I've got a nice package for you if you want to unwrap it."
"Do they really do this stuff?" Riyadh's mother, who may now be scarred from social media for life, adds in reaction to the Grindr posts.
In spite of her shock, the (proud?) parent is completely in awe of the app, getting a little swipe-happy as she explores the pics before proclaiming, "this is like porn."
But the best part of the now-viral video occurs when mom picks out a "nice" guy for her son, only to take a closer look at the picture.
"The most disgusting boxer shorts I've ever seen in my life," she says with a look of disapproval.
Perhaps she should peruse through Tinder?
