Ready or not, here's the first teaser trailer for the new Mission: Impossible sequel!
The video was released on Sunday and the official title of the film, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, was also revealed. The full trailer is set to be posted online on Monday.
Tom Cruise reprises his role as super spy Ethan Hunt. In the clip, set to the tune of The Fugees' 1996 hit "Ready or Not," he is shown fighting while shirtless, showing off his lean, muscular torso. He also loops dapper in a black tux.
And, as expected, he performs some pretty impressive stunts, including one in which he hangs off of an airplane as it takes off. He was spotted filming the plane scene last fall. The aircraft, an Airbus A400M, flew 5,000 feet over the U.K. countryside.
The teaser trailer aired on TV on Sunday during coverage of the NCAA March Madness basketball games. Watch it below.
Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner reprise their roles as colleague and IMF agents Benji Dunn and William Brandt. The movie also stars newcomers Alec Baldwin, who appears to play a high-ranking security official, and The White Queen's Rebecca Ferguson in a femme fatale role, in which she showcases some sexual tension with Cruise's character.
In the film, Hunt takes on a terrorist organization of rogue assassins called The Syndicate, which has made him its new target. Good luck! The group was referenced in the previous film in the series, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is set for release on July 31.
