Just when you thought you heard the last of Pharrell Williams' "Happy"…
But at least this time it's playing for a good cause, and though you swore you would never dance to it again, we bet the $10,000 Apple Watch that we'll never actually own that you'll be dancing once you see what Pharrell has done for International Day of Happiness.
The entire world, right now, at this moment, is having one giant dance party. Isn't that awesome?! All of planet Earth is dancing along to "Happy," and if you want to see what the biggest dance party ever looks like, just go to GlobalHappyParty.com and check it out for yourself.
See all those happy people dancing in GIF form? You can join them! Don't be shy; upload your beautiful face busting a move to an overplayed song that still manages to get you nodding your head every damn time. Seriously, Pharrell must be some kind of sorcerer.
The Grammy winner partnered with Google Earth and the United Nations Foundation to promote International Day of Happiness, which is what led to this giant dance party.
"In a year where there is so much turmoil in the world, from social conflict to climate change, we need moments to stop and celebrate happiness," Pharrell said in a statement. "Protecting our planet is fundamental to the pursuit of human happiness and that is why we have chosen to support Live Earth's movement to raise a billion voices for climate action. We believe that happiness can change the world."
If you don't feel like adding your sick dance moves to the big "Happy" party, you can always explore the World Map to see beautiful, smiling faces in China, Brazil, the U.S. and plenty of other countries on Earth getting their groove on. It'll make you instantly happy, we promise.
