Merritt Patterson is the fresh-faced beauty Ophelia on The Royals, the daughter of the head of security to the royal family who also becomes the love interest of Prince Liam (William Moseley).
The show is centered around a fictional modern-day royal family with Elizabeth Hurley as the domineering Queen Helena that Ophelia dares to stand up to. Talk about fearless.
As it turns out, Merritt is a lot like her character. When she's not on the set of The Royals, she loves spending time with her family and boyfriend, being outdoors and just having a good time in general.
She's been getting glam for lots of photo shoots and publicity tours for The Royals, but in her spare time, Merritt enjoys fishing (and she's good at it too), skiing with the family, hanging out with friends as well as her fellow Royals co-stars including Sophie Colquhoun—who interestingly enough plays socialite Gemma (and Ophelia's enemy) on the show.
