First comes love (on TV), then comes Dancing With the Stars...then comes marriage?!
That seems to be the unusual (and bedazzled) path Chris Soules is on when it comes to his relationship with fiancée Whitney Bischoff, who he proposed to on the season finale of The Bachelor...just one week before making his debut on DWTS last night. Talk about a busy man!
But is Prince Farming too busy to plan his own wedding?! Yep!
"We are just trying to enjoy our time sort of out of the spotlight and in public and being normal," Chris tells E! News of his relationship with Whitney, who was in the audience during his Dancing debut on Monday night. "We're transitioning here into a life in LA and she's living here as well. So it's one step at a time and that's what we're focused on. Wedding plans will come naturally."
And Chris reveals his relationship with the fertility nurse was one of the main factors in his decision to join DWTS so soon after wrapping up his time as the Bachelor.
"It was hard to say no. It wasn't a no-brainer. There were other things…my relationship with Whitney and I is very important to me, and again, I'm away from home and work and that sort of thing," he explains. "But this is a really cool opportunity to just have fun and be able to meet a lot of really cool people and learn a skill that I've never learned before. It's extremely rewarding and I'm having the time of my life!"
Unfortunately, with this particular new skill comes the potential for injuries, and Chris seems to be the first injured celeb of season 20! But how serious is it? Press play on our interview with Chris and his professional partner Witney Carson to find out.
DWTS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
