It's not all fun and games getting married—it can be hard work, too!

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are proof of that when they took the TLC cameras with them while shopping for their gift registry before their November wedding.

The soon-to-be husband and wife were joined by a few of Jessa's younger siblings, who seemed like they were having a blast using the registry guns to snap up a few must-have items.

And while Jessa focused on getting some staple items for the kitchen, like cups and plates, Ben had a different vision for what types of gifts he wanted to receive.

The reality star got sidetracked in the toy isle with his future brother-in-law and opted to register for a few—ahem, more like a lot—of nontraditional items.

Ben scanned a variety of candy as well as dart guns, footballs and foam swords.

"Me and Justin were walking and I was thinking, 'All right, what would kids enjoy when they come over to Ben and Jessa's house?'" he told the camera after the major shopping excursion.

And while you'd think Jessa wouldn't be too pleased by Ben's selection, you'd be shocked to know that she didn't react at all like we thought she would!

So what did make it onto the registry? Well, let's take a look!

There were some thrifty items like a Life's a Hoot Pot Holder and Oven Mitt, $5.99 and $6.99 respectively, and the Hydro-Therapy Foot Massager, which set a wedding guest back $37.49.

As for the pricier items?

There was a Contemporary Stainless Steel 13-Piece Cookware Set on the list that costs $499.99 and a $660.99 Home Collection 5-Level Shelf.

So it wasn't just candy and toys!
