Man Charged With Murder in Stabbing Death of Nicki Minaj Tour Crew Member, De'Von Pickett

31-year-old Pierce Boykin is also charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing another man as well

Police believe they have the man who fatally stabbed a member of Nicki Minaj's tour crew to death and seriously wounded another roadie.

Pierce Boykin, 31, was charged with murder Tuesday in the death of 29-year-old De'Von Pickett, who was killed during a bar fight on Feb. 18 in Philadelphia's East Germantown neighborhood, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. One of Pickett's fellow roadies was seriously injured and Boykin has also been charged with attempted murder.

Police have not announced any motive or what started the fight that begin inside the Che Bar and Grill and spilled outside near the highway.

"Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly," Minaj tweeted at the time. "One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour."

Pickett had also reportedly pulled duty on tours for the likes of Britney SpearsRihanna and Kanye West.

"[C]an't believe this is true!" Rihanna wrote on Instagram after Pickett's death. "one of the nicest, coolest, funniest people I've ever met and toured with! We had so much fun together!!! Sad to lose a beautiful spirit like yours #RIPDayDay."

Per the Philadelphia Inquirer, Boykin is facing charges of murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, simple assault and related offenses.
