Fox News' Sean Hannity has a bone to pick with John Legend.

The TV host slammed the new Oscar winner after his acceptance speech at Sunday night's Academy Awards, where he and Common won Best Original Song for the Selma track "Glory."

Hannity said on-air that both Common and Legend just "decided to make all things political" when he was on stage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

And even though Chrissy Teigen's hubby made no mention of voter laws during his short-but-powerful speech, Hannity ran with that angle for his harsh criticisms.

He claimed that it was inappropriate for the crooner to "equate the Voting Rights Act with showing an ID to get to vote so we can keep honesty and integrity in our elections."

Hannity slammed the singer for making a political statement in front of the millions and millions of viewers watching the Oscars, but did manage to have one nice thing to say.

"I like John Legend as a musician, but he doesn't know anything about politics."

While Legend has yet to address the matter on Twitter—and it's only a matter of time before he or his outspoken wife do—he did reach out to a fan who offered some insight on how he could've improved his speech.

"I think that when you make a speech you should not make white people out to all be racist," the tweeter wrote.

Legend swiftly replied, "When did I do that? Look at my speech again."
