Call this a true meeting of the Gs!

Warren G and Kenny G decided to make history Monday night when they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live together.

Combining their epic musical skills, the unlikely duo took center stage for a funk-drenched performance of the 1994 classic hit "Regulate."

"One of the funnest performances i've ever done!" Kenny wrote on Twitter with a link to the viral video. "#KennyAndWarrenG"

For those who don't recall, the original track relied heavily on a sample of Michael McDonald's single "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)."

"It was a record that I always loved, from being a kid and my parents playing it when they had their company of friends over," Warren G recently told Rolling Stone. "I had the sample and was like, ‘It would be so different to do a hip-hop song over this."

The unlikely collaboration concludes the popular monthlong "Mash Up Mondays" segment featured on the late-night program.

Weezer and ZZ Top, Aloe Black and Blackstreet, and other groups were part of the series.

And for those who can't get enough of the most recent collaboration, you may be in luck. Warren G is set to hit the road next month for a weeklong tour appropriated called "The G-Funk Experience." Can Kenny G come too please?!
