Sleeping with one of your producers seems like such a music industry standard that Carmen Electra basically had no choice but to knock boots on her upcoming album.

So who's the lucky guy?

Sources tell E! News that new boyfriend and Korn guitarist Rob Patterson is helping her with tracks for the album.

(The two have been quietly dating for months.)

You might remember her first effort in the early '90s. Or not, since the self-titled release was a stinker.

But it's interesting to note that then-boyfriend Prince was behind the music making.

Hopefully, Carmen's current relationship doesn't fall victim to that other industry cliché: If the album goes bust, the romance is dead before CDs hit the discount bin.
