Ronan Farrow's show has been dropped.

MSNBC has opted to cancel Ronan Farrow Daily a year after it premiered on the small screen in an effort to bulk up its news coverage in the daytime, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Although his show got the boot, Farrow will still be very involved with the network—just with a new gig.

According to the report, Ronan is getting a series of interview-driven primetime specials, and will continue his partnership with the NBC News Investigative Unit. He and Joy-Ann Reid, whose show also got dropped from the network, will work with the Bridge, the network's editorial news hub directing coverage for digital and dayside.

Without directly confirming the news, Farrow addressed the changes on Twitter by writing, "Excited about new role - more to come soon."

Prior to the 27-year-old joining MSNBC, he was a foreign policy official in the first Barack Obama administration.

He also founded the State Department's Office of Global Youth Issues and reported to the Secretary of State as the United States' first Special Adviser for Global Youth during the Arab Spring revolutions.
