Now that the simulated sex, spanking, blindfolding, lovey-dovey staring, drama and angst is over, and Fifty Shades of Grey has been released, what is leading lady Dakota Johnson going to do with the rest of her life?
Or at least, for the next few weeks? The 25-year-old actress, who plays heroine Anastasia Steele in the movie, in what marks her first starring role in a film, spoke to E! News at the recent London premiere about her post-film plans.
One of them kinda contradicts the main theme of Fifty Shades of Grey, a controversial (see the protestor's sign in the video), R-rated romantic drama depicting a man, Christian Grey, who's into BDSM, and his love interest, Steele, who has never even had sex before she met him.
"I'm going to probably sleep a lot," Dakota said.
Another one sounds super stressful.
"I'm moving houses, so I am gonna be packing my boxes, which is like the most tedious thing in the world," she said.
Dakota hasn't had much time to relax in recent weeks, as she's been on a press tour for Fifty Shades of Grey. She told Vogue magazine in a February 2015 cover story that after she's done with it, she's "just going to take the rest of the year off."
"I want to hang out with my friends," said the actress, daughter of now-divorced actors Don Johnson and Melanie Grifith. "I want to hang out with my family—well, I sometimes want to hang out with my family!"
Dakota didn't give a timeframe for her not-so-relaxing post-Fifty Shades of Grey break. The movie was released on Friday the 13th, a day before Valentine's Day.
The actress has remained coy about her love life.
Last summer, she was linked romantically to hunky Welsh model and musician Matthew Hitt, after they were photographed holding hands. The two were also spotted together months later in Los Angeles, grabbing frozen yogurt, and as recently as Tuesday, when he was seen walking near her as they both left a New York hotel.
Hitt has not been spotted at any Fifty Shades of Grey premieres, which Dakota attended solo. Here she is at the London event, posing with co-star Jamie Dornan and showing off her slender figure in a Grecian-style, cleavage-baring, ivory Saint Laurent gown with sparkling embellishments.
And in an on-camera interview with Extra that was posted on Friday, Dakota said, "I don't have a boyfriend."
It is unclear when the sit-down took place.
Her perfect date, Dakota added, includes "room service and movies." And her biggest turn-off? "Self-centeredness."
Sorry, Mr. Grey.
