Don't be jealous fellow awards show producers, but Nickelodeon just snagged one pretty impressive host!

Former Jonas Brothers member Nick Jonas announced Wednesday night that he will be the master of ceremonies for next month's Kids' Choice Awards, a show guaranteed to be filled with plenty of slime and some screams from excited children.

"3.28.15 #KCA @NickelodeonTV," Nick captioned on Instagram with the first of likely many promos for the fan-favorite show.

He later added, "I'm hosting the Kids' Choice Awards" right before that fantastic slime almost touched his black leather jacket. Looks like somebody's getting prepared.

Nick joins a pretty impressive list of past hosts. In addition to 2014's pick of Josh Duhamel, the channel home to Spongebob Squarepants has also given Jack Black, Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz and Will Smith the honors of running Nickelodeon's annual tradition.

It's the perfect gig at the perfect time for the "Jealous" singer who has been nominated for two Kids' Choice Awards in years past.

In addition to a hit series on DirectTV titled Kingdom, the 22-year-old has found great success in the music industry.

His latest single "Chains" is climbing the charts at the same time he's preparing to go on a massive tour with Iggy Azalea.

And for all the older fans who may not tune into Nickelodeon on a regular basis, perhaps all this slime could result in Nick taking his shirt off. Those impressive abs certainly haven't hurt anyone.

The 2015 Kids' Choice Awards airs March 28 from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
