Scott Foley Reveals His Romantic Valentine's Day Plans—Is He Planning to Channel Scandal's Jake Ballard?

Scandal star also reveals the perfect gift he gives his wife on more than one occasion

When it comes to Valentine's Day, some may expect Scott Foley's plans to be a bit on the scandalous side.

Perhaps he wants to go all Jake Ballard on his wife with wine and popcorn? Maybe get a little hot and heavy on the piano? Don't pretend like you haven't watched Scandal.

But when we chatted with the actor last week at the NAACP Image Awards to talk all things romance, his plans may be a bit surprising.

"We're pretty simple. We've got three kids," he told E! News when asked about his holiday plans with wife Marika Dominczyk. "If we can find a sitter and get the night off and go to a dinner, that's what we'll do."

He continued, "We'll probably talk about our kids—which is what everybody does—comes home and go to sleep early so we can wake up early with the kids. That's what happens in my house."

Basically, it's the complete opposite of what Ballard would do on the hit ABC drama.

While we understand several children could complicate a few things, we weren't letting Foley off that easy. We had to know if any special gifts are planned.

"I'm a flower guy. I think flowers are important," he shared with E! News. "Every now and then, it's jewelry on Valentine's Day but you can't go overboard."

Why the heck not, Scott?!

"You don't want to put something out there and then have an expectation every year," he added. Setting the bar low we see. You're thinking things through, dude.
