We just want to start this post out by stating that we think Andrew Garfield is/was a fantastic Spider-Man. We don't think he should be replaced, because he was a wonderful Peter Parker. But if Marvel says "jump," you say "how high?" If Marvel says "let's find a new Spider-Man," you say: "Donald Glover!"

Well, that's basically what Twitter has been saying since news broke that Sony and Marvel will be relaunching the film franchise, and reportedly a new actor will step swing in to play the superhero. And it is with heavy heart that we put forth some ideas for the next Peter Parker (or Miles Morales), and should Marvel use any of them, we are happy with a 10 percent finder's fee. Actually, make it 30 percent.

Hello, he was the inspiration for Miles Morales, who took over Spidey duties following the (comic book spoiler) death of Peter Parker. Twitter has been begging for the Community alum and rapper to fulfill his superhero destiny, and #DonaldForSpiderman has been trending on Twitter since last night. Also, this:

2. Robbie Amell

He's just so handsome and chiseled, and he can handle both comedy (he seems on point in the trailer for The Duff) and action. Sure, he's currently in DC land playing Firestorm on The Flash, but we think Sony could convince him to come over to the Marvel side.

3. Adam DeVine

Yeah, it's weird, but we're throwing this out there. The Workaholics star showed off some moves in Pitch Perfect, so we know he's coordinated. Mostly, we're just putting this out into the universe because this casting would be so bats--t crazy that it would probably work.

4. Dave Franco

A hot career, a hot face and a hot bod. We're in. Plus, he's Spider-Man legacy so it's kind of perfect to put James Franco's bro in the costume.

5. Jussie Smollett

He's killing it on Empire, but there was only one thing that convinced us that he should play Spider-Man. No, not his acting ability, which is stellar, by the way. We're talking about the fact that he was in Mighty Ducks! We can't explain our reasoning; all we know is that anyone who starred in our childhood deserves to be a big, big star.

6. Anton Yelchin

Apparently, he was on the short list behind Andrew Garfield to play Peter Parker in the first reboot, so maybe it's time to see why the Star Trek star was almost starring opposite Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man.

7. Ansel Elgort

Ansel is so hot right now. And if Marvel keeps Shailene Woodley on as Mary Jane...we've got ourselves a Fault in Our Stars reunion!

8. Logan Lerman

We are so ready for this talented man to blow up. We've been ready for years. Look at those piercing eyes! He can swing in and save us any day of the week.

9. Hunter Parrish

Look, we truly adore Josh Hutcherson, but Hunter was always our first choice for Peeta in The Hunger Games franchise. Maybe he didn't get the role because he was meant to don a certain pair of red and blue tights.

10. Skylar Astin

Peter Parker is definitely a quip-y, cheeky kind of superhero, and if he has to hold his own against Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War (which is where he is rumored to make his debut), we need someone like Skylar to step up to the plate. We know he'd hit a home run.

11. Max Minghella

We wouldn't be mad if Marvel kept the "cast a charming Brit as Spider-Man" thing going.

12. Dylan O'Brien

MTV

We know he's funny and charming. We've seen him in action on Teen Wolf and in The Maze Runner. Put those traits together and you've got yourself a legit Spider-Man. A Legit-Man, if you will.

13. Andrew Garfield

Columbia Pictures

Sorry, we're still having trouble letting him go. We'll miss you, Andrew!

What did you think of our list? Are we missing anyone? Who do you think should be the next one to play the web-slinger?
