MTV vs. Britney, Round 2

Britney's "comeback" album, heinous cover and all, officially drops on Oct. 30, but MTV Networks has the real thing streaming today on MTV, VH1 and Logo Online.

We're a bit weary that MTV and its sister companies are the spot to listen to Blackout. Brit's last partnership with the network resulted in tragic humiliation—cough, VMAs, cough.

So, is MTV just trying to benefit by throwing her under the bus again? Maybe not. After all, Sarah Silverman isn't coming on to make fun of Brit's crotch shots and "adorable mistakes," which is one sign the network has pure intentions.

Still, Britney's new CD could be humiliating all on its own. And good or not, her friends have banded together to call for fans to boycott the album until she gets her act—and her life—together.

Let's be fair and not judge an album by its cover, mediocre (if inexplicably chart-topping) single and train-wreck artist.

Give it a legal listen, and then weigh in...
