They may have said "I do" less than two months ago. But for Lance Bass and Michael Turchin, there's one question that they already can't seem to avoid.
When are the kids coming?!
"We're going to enjoy the honeymoon phase for a second, but we want to start a family for sure," Bass revealed to E! News at The Grove shopping center. "That's one of the reasons we wanted to commit to each other, to start a family."
The couple, who hopes to welcome a child of their own first, also admitted that they are more than interested in adopting sooner rather than later.
"It will be nice to have our own kids first," Bass explained. "And then maybe when they're a little older, adopt a kid that's around eight or nine. We love the whole adoption thing—with dogs or humans, too."
For those who don't know, the former ‘N Sync member and his husband have been taking in foster dogs for several years before a proper owner can be found.
Their dedication to the four-legged friends may be the ultimate sign that these two already have plenty of parenting traits inside them.
"I cry like every time [the dogs leave]," Turchin admitted. " I love doing it, but then I hate it." How can parents not relate to that?
And as if this couple needed another reason to welcome a child, it turns out both of their parents love each other resulting in one giant extended family.
"Our families love each other—as opposite as they are—they absolutely love each other," Bass explained. "We got a taste of that when we went to New York like three years ago and our moms met and they were just best friends immediately. It's great. I have great in-laws. Thank God!"
