News has scored an exclusive sneak peek at the latest promo for Dig, USA Network's upcoming mystery series starring Anne Heche (always welcome on our small screens) as an FBI boss and the ever swoon-worthy Jason Isaacs as the risk-taking, crafty agent who's both a thorn in Heche's side and her sometimes lover.
Yes, plenty of cable-caliber steaminess ensues.
The Dig of the title refers to the layers of ancient conflict—dating back 2,000 years—that are essential to the main murder mystery at hand taking place in modern-day Jerusalem.
In the promo here, not only do Heche's Lynn Monahan and Isaac's Peter Connelly log some play time together, but we also get a look at just how deep this Dig goes—we're talking secret societies, millennia-old conspiracies, religious conflict and a growing pile of casualties.
