Ciara's back!

After taking some time off to ease into motherhood and spend time with her adorable baby boy, Future Zahir Wilburn, the songstress made her return to music and has released her first track, "I Bet," since the release of her self-titled album almost two years ago.

The Harmony Samuels-produced song is reminiscent of some of her slower tempo songs like "And I" and "Promise," with a catchy beat and background ad-libs by Theron Thomas of Rock City, who also co-wrote the tune.

But her new release leads to one obvious question—are the lyrics inspired by her recent breakup with rapper Future?

Here are a few lines from the track:

"I bet you start loving me / As soon as I start loving someone else / Somebody better than you / I bet you start needing me / As soon as you see me with someone else / Somebody other than you / And I know that it hurts / You know that it hurts your pride / But you thought the grass was greener on the other side / I bet you start loving me / As soon as I start loving someone else / Somebody better than you."

E! News exclusively revealed in December that the pair ended their engagement after trying to repair their strained relationship. The duo had been plagued in recent months by rumors that Future cheated and, though Ciara never addressed that directly, an insider told us that she was "humiliated" by the stories.

"I imagine this song ('I Bet') will be very meaningful for a lot of people. It is much bigger than any one person's experience," Ciara told Billboard.

Listen to the track and tell us what you think—is "I Bet" about Future?
