The folks at ABC Family made a faux pas when they sent flowers to the Melissa and Joey actress for "her" Pretty Little Liars win at the awards show. The only problem is that she has nothing to do with the Rosewood-based series! The former Clarissa Explains it All star found a lot of humor in the mistake and Instagrammed the cable channel's card that came with the bouquet.
"Hmmmm... But thanks for the flowers. #MelissaandJoey back on Wednesday Jan 14 at 8pm for a new season. #peopleschoice," she captioned the pic, making sure to include a small promo for her actual show LOL!
The best part might be that the card is signed "Your Friends at ABC Family," but a true friend would know which show she's on!
Melissa and Joey has been on ABC Family since 2010, and Pretty Little Liars, which stars Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse debuted that same year, so maybe that's the mistake? Either way, this type of error his hilarious but kind of cringe-worthy for the channel.
At least you have some fresh flowers to brighten up your home, Melissa!
