During this time of year, there are usually only two things that make us cry: the idea of being shoved into an airplane with hundreds of cranky mouth-breathers for five hours as we fly home for Christmas…and holiday commercials. Companies are really going in for the kill with their heartwarming, tear-jerking ads around Christmas.
We hate them for it.
Take this latest one from Apple. It's a commercial about how music can span generations and transport you back to a different time in your life. But of course they throw in themes like family, grieving, remembering your first love and finding solace in your memories. And ugh, it made us feel all the feelings.
Thanks for making us cry in less than 30 seconds, Apple! Why don't you just stick to making sure we always have the best technology for selfies?! Damn.
