White Nights

In a red carpet sea of blacks and blues, there was one color that seemed to stand out above it all at the 14th Annual SAG Awards: winter white.

This was welcomed for two reasons. First, we don't get much snow in L.A., so we'll take a blizzard in any form we can get. And second, it's really helping us get over that whole antiquated "no white after Labor Day" rule.

Eva Longoria Parker and Becki Newton were all sparkly sexiness, while Ashley Tisdale went gauzy and age appropriate in the virginal hue. Only poor Holly Hunter and her drab belt seemed to be a style nod to the discount rack at David's Bridal.

Otherwise, we fully support wearing superglam white couture. It's classic, chic, amazing with lots of diamonds and is a great way to recycle a wedding dress...with the right accessories, of course.
