What a handsome young man!
New, official, Christmas photos of Prince George, the 16-month-old toddler son of Prince William and wife Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, were released on Saturday by the royal family, less than two weeks before the holiday.
The future heir to the British throne, who sports blond hair like his father and late grandmother Princess Diana, showcases adorable chubby cheeks and is wearing a navy sweater vest with what appears to be a Queen's Guard design over a white shirt, plus dark shorts and knee-high socks and black shoes.. He is seen sitting on a flight of stairs in a courtyard at Kensington Palace in London. The pictures were taken late last month. We last saw official photos of the royal baby in July, just before he turned 1.
Kate, who is currently pregnant with George's future little brother or sister, and William recently spent three days in the United States, in what marked their first official trip there since 2011, the year they got married.
The prince met with President Barack Obama at the White House. He and Kate spent most of their time in New York City, where they visited an education center, the Empire State Building and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The two also attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala for their alma mater, St. Andrews and the Innovation Is Great Reception, where the prince met prince met Mayor Bill de Blasio and Kate chatted with Sir Patrick Stewart and his wife, Sunny Ozell.
William and Kate hung out with more celebs during their trip. They attended a Brooklyn Nets game and met American royalty—Beyoncé and Jay Z, as well as Cleveland Cavaliers player and NBA superstar LeBron James, who caused a stir when he put his arm around the duchess. He also gave them team jerseys, including a little one for baby George.
Kate also visited the Northside Center for Child Development, where she had a perfect reaction to a rude person as she wrapped gifts (watch it here!).
