Beat Ben @ the Box Office: Dough for the 'Fro

You might think this call's gonna be little high for an R-rated comedy at the end of February, but listen. I think Semi-Pro will be the second-biggest opening of Will Ferrell's career (the first being Talladega Nights at $47 million-plus), and with good reason.

My Call:  Semi-Pro will open at about $42.2 million

Here's Why:  First off, Will has been eeeeeeeverywhere, including the Daily 10 and with your favorite film critic on the red carpet. Also, there's a bigger built-in basketball audience than the figure-skating fans who showed up for Blades of Glory.

Also, not much competition. Penelope and The Other Boleyn Girl open in limited release, while Ferrell and his '70s Afro roll into more than 3,500 theaters.

Your Turn:  Did I shoot too low? Are you not feeling the Ferrell magic on this one? Vote below and sound off in Comments.
