Hey parents, you may want to shield your kids from LeVar Burton's latest gem.

The genius host behind the beloved children's series Reading Rainbow appeared at a charity event Saturday in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

When given the choice to read any story, the Star Trek actor happily chose the best-seller Go the F--k to Sleep by Adam Mansbach.

"This is one of my favorite children's stories," he said as a group of young adults began to laugh with delight. Warning, the hilarious video may be NSFW.

The 2011 bestseller, inspired by Mansbach's toddler daughter who had trouble falling asleep, features plenty of choice words parents may occasionally want to utter when parenting.

The book also received much attention after actor Samuel L. Jackson decided to read the story as a lullaby.

Burton's latest viral movement comes as the host successfully launched a Kickstarter campaign to make Reading Rainbow available to children everywhere using an app.

In less than 24 hours, the campaign reached the $1 million goal thanks to more than 22,000 backers.

"Kickstarters, I don't know what to say," the visibly moved Burton said when first hearing the news. "We just crossed the million-dollar threshold. It is our first day. I am overwhelmed. Thank you so much. This is going to enable us to really, really, really do a lot of good."

He added, "Together, we want to provide Reading Rainbow to as many classrooms as possible for free! When we meet our initial goal of $1,000,000, we can put Reading Rainbow in over 1500 classrooms at no cost to the schools!"

Job well done once again, Mr. Burton.
