Who's ready for an out-of-this-world movie experience?

Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain sure are as they tease fans about their upcoming project, Interstellar.

Gracing the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly, the talented A-listers explain how director Christopher Nolan took on such an ambitious project.

"Nobody is able to put more scope, scale, awe on screen than Chris," McConaughey said to the publication. "But I think he was wanting to take the next step, toward something more intimate. It was an evolution."

In fact, those wondering if mind-alerting substances are required for this trip to outer space shouldn't worry one bit! As Hathaway promised, "Isn't it nice to have a movie that is about all things the movie is about and not feel druggy?"

It's a mindset Nolan has maintained during the entire movie process.

"This is the first film I have made where the actual experience of the film is paramount to the audience," Nolan explained. "You would think that's the case with Batman movies but it's not; they're more dependent on the reaction of characters on screen. Interstellar is different. It harkens back to the direct experience films of 2001, where you're not just experiencing it through the characters, you are lost in it."

And while the film may appear to be all about the galaxy, Chastain assures us that there's even more fans can expect.

"As much as the film is about outer space and like the most incredible action, adventure, epic, epic film, it's so much about love," she exclusively told E! News. "Trust me, there's no way to over hype this film."

Interstellar hits theatres nationwide Nov. 7 and pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly available Friday.
