Motherhood has never looked so good!

Less than three weeks after welcoming a baby girl with husband Marc Mezvinsky, Chelsea Clinton stepped out in New York City to spend some quality time with a few close girlfriends.

Wearing a beige trench coat over her black ensemble, the 34-year-old looked comfortable and chic while catching up with pals.

"Chelsea looks fit and healthy. She was walking slowly and seemed really relaxed," an eyewitness told E! News exclusively. "She looked happy to be outside and catch a little break with friends."

While strolling through Washington Square Park Tuesday, the new mom was presented with a special present wrapped in red polka-dot wrapping paper. She also carried a bottle of water to stay cool and refreshed during her long walk.

"Chelsea was happy to see her friends," the eyewitness added. "Motherhood agrees with her."

The new mom and her husband have been caring for their baby girl in private the past couple of weeks. The proud parents, however, couldn't help but share a few pictures with fans shortly after Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky was born.

"At 7:03 PM on September 26th, we finally met Charlotte," Chelsea tweeted while holding her baby girl in her arms. "We're in love."

New grandparents Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton couldn't help but gush over their new family member as well.

"@BillClinton and I are over the moon to be grandparents," Hillary wrote on social media shortly after the baby's birth. "One of the happiest moments of our life."  Bill echoed his wife's remarks saying, "Charlotte, your grandmother @HillaryClinton and I couldn't be happier."

As the new family gear ups for their first Halloween and holiday season together, Chelsea hopes her daughter feels deeply loved by all those around her.

"I always knew I was the center of my parents' lives when I was growing up," she told Vogue magazine. "And I am determined that our children feel the same way."
