Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks were a seriously cute couple. Is it so bad to want them to get back together?!
We'll get to that in a second. For now, though, it seems both singers have a lot to say about the recently ended relationship. On Monday, just after announcing the nominations for the 2014 American Music Awards (which air Nov. 23at 8/7c on ABC), Jason spoke with E! News about last month's split.
"It's definitely a difficult thing," admitted the 25-year-old "Talk Dirty" singer. "But you know, I wasn't really thinking about myself, I was more thinking about how she was coping with it on the inside."
There was also "the element of people making up stories and stuff," said Jason. (He has repeatedly denied cheating reports; Jordin, however, issued a terse, "I actually don't wanna comment on that," when asked about the infidelity rumors surrounding her ex.)
But, said Jason, "You go through things in life and you take it with a grain of salt. You keep moving."
The "Marry Me" singer said he's "good," though, keeping busy with "new chapters in life." This includes newfound attention from the ladies—including a few celebs who've reportedly hit him up via Twitter direct message! Jason reasoned it's "only natural" for these crushes to come out of the woodwork now, but does he plan on responding to any of them?
