On a scale of 1 to "sticking a fork in an electrical outlet" on the stupidity scale, we're going to put this dude at a "walking off of a pier because you were too busy checking Facebook."

On a US Airways flight from Philadelphia to Punta Cana, a male passenger made an absolutely hysterical joke about having Ebola after he sneezed. Isn't that so funny?! People are dying by the hundreds from this terrible virus and the whole world is on edge because they've seen Outbreak and Contagion too many times! Don't you get it?! Get the joke?!

Yeah, this guy is awful. According to the Dominican news site Diario Libre, the guy yelled out "I have Ebola, you are all screwed!" And Fox News claims the 54-year-old also screamed: "I've been to Africa!"

So a medical team in hazmat suits had to board the plane to remove him, which is exactly what you want to see before you head off into the air, right? He was examined in a separate medical area and was found to be completely clean and that he had never been to Africa. The Ministry of Public Health also confirmed it was all just a false alarm.

According to the person who took the above video, passengers had to be held for two hours before they were allowed to take off.

Screaming on an airplane that you have Ebola is the new screaming that you have a bomb on an airplane. It's not funny. It's stupid. Don't do it.
