UPDATE: As of Monday afternoon, Trevor Knight has not reached out to Katy Perry after she asked the football stud to call her during GameDay.

According to Sooner Sports TV, Knight was asked about his new celebrity fan at a media luncheon. When asked if he has Perry's number, he replied, "Yeah that is definitely the first issue there."

Katy Perry is ready for some football!

The "Firework" singer added some sparks to ESPN's College GameDay Saturday morning. Broadcast live from the University of Mississippi campus, Perry joined host Chris Fowler and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard for plenty of sports talk.

"OXFORD MISSISSIPPI I'M HERE WITH REBEL RED HAIR TODAY!" Perry tweeted on-set. "ARE YOU READY?! @CollegeGameDay #GetUp4GameDay"

By no surprise, Perry wasn't exactly up to par on college football. That didn't, however, stop her from making some predictions for Saturday's games.

When asked if Oklahoma would defeat Texas Christian University, Perry had no hesitations.

"I'm picking this one on looks," the 29-year-old singer said. "Trevor Knight, do you hear me?"

She added, "The quarterback for Oklahoma we don't mind so I'm going to go with him. Trevor Knight call me!"

Score!

Oklahoma couldn't help but cheer on Perry's pick. The university later tweeted, "Welcome, @KatyPerry, to the @Trevor_Knight9 fan club."

The predictions didn't stop there!

When asked if Maryland or Ohio State would take home a big win today, Perry had to pick the latter. The reason? Because of former quarterback Herbstreit, of course!

"I have to go for Ohio State because of Kirk Herbstreit," Perry joked as she held a heart-shaped cutout photo of the ESPN analysis back in his college days.

But what about Knight?

"I still love you Trevor Knight," Perry reiterated. "Call me."

"His life just changed forever," Herbstreit said in reference to Knight's new crush. For the record, the football stud is in a happy relationship based on Instagram

Nonetheless, Perry put on quite the show Saturday morning. In addition to her predictions, Perry threw a corn dog at the camera. She ripped the mascot head off Corso and threw it into the crowd.

Last but certainly not least, we couldn't help but notice the singer's outfit of choice. The unusually fuzzy pink and black jersey was matched with Perry's signature double buns.

Not your average Saturday morning on ESPN to say the least!
