Watch: Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting Rides in L.A. Masters

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was ready to ride for a good cause!

The Big Bang Theory star was a celebrity competitor Saturday in the Longines L.A. Masters, a 4-day event offering fine dining, luxury shopping and live musical performances. But before the 28-year-old blond beauty saddled up her horse Thor, she took a few moments to chat with E! News about her participation in the world's most prestigious equestrian event.

"Since I'm married to a tennis player, I put it like this: To me, this is kind of like the U.S. open for riding, for horses. All the best of the best—the biggest riders in the world—are here," she said. "We're at the L.A. Convention Center—it's absolutely stunning here...I am in awe! This is the biggest stage I've ever been on!"

"Tonight we've got this amazing Pro-Am we're doing that's all for charity, " she went on. "I'm going to be paired up with a professional, and it's like a relay—a really fun lighthearted event tonight. So I'm really excited!"

The actress, who has been riding since she was 15, gushed that "being asked to be part of this event is like the highlight [of my riding career]!"

Kaley had to dress the part, too, which involved wearing pants with tassels and a long brunette wig. "I might be kind of slightly Pocahontas-y," she said of her getup. "I have to practice with my wig. I'm a little nervous—it's like down to here [motions down her leg]. I don't have any hair anymore!"

The actress knew, though, no matter how well she and Thor performed, her No. 1 fan, hubby Ryan Sweeting, would be proud! But, she said, "he doesn't like to come."

Say what now?! "He gets very nervous watching me ride," she explained. "He likes sick to his stomach—very, very nervous."

Admittedly, though, Kaley was "very nervous" to enter the ring, too. Watch the video above to find out her pre-game competition plan (hint: it involves "a lot of alcohol!") Plus, find out if the Big Bang Theory star wants her future kiddies to share their mama's love of horses or stick to the sidelines like dad!
