Kylie Minogue is ready to get back into the heads of her U.S. fans.

The Australian songbird will release her latest album, X, in the States on April 1, her record label announced Thursday.

The first single, "All I See," features a collaboration with rapper Mims.

"This album is much more of a celebration than anything I've done before, with some room for reflection as well," Minogue said in a statement.

"I started work on it a year and a half ago when recording was far off in the future, because no one wanted to pressure me. But I had to get back into the studio just to test myself and get some things off my chest, which I did.

"To finish was a great relief and an inspiration in that I knew, 'This is what I do and this is what I love doing.' It has its challenges, but I'm ready for more."

The album, Minogue's first in four years and 10th overall, was released in other parts of the world last November.

The singer will embark on a European tour—dubbed KylieX2008—in support of the album this spring and summer, kicking off in Paris on May 6 and wrapping up in London on Aug. 4.

Minogue, 39, took a brief break from her musical career after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005. After undergoing successful treatment, she resumed touring in November 2006.
