Cher Postpones Dressed to Kill Tour, Takes to Her Bed With Acute Viral Infection

Singer is forced to put off her upcoming dates

Legendary singer Cher announced today that she will be postponing the start of the second leg of her tour.

The music icon was diagnosed with acute viral infection over the weekend and will be needing bed rest for several days to recover, according to a statement obtained by E! News.

The Dressed to Kill concert series—which promises to put the singer back in some costumes from iconic designer Bob Mackie—was set to open in Albany, New York on Sept. 11, 2014, but will now be held Oct. 6, 2014. The Manchester, New Hampshire date is also pushed back to Oct. 7, 2014.
