An Apple a day didn't keep the doctor away from Gwyneth Paltrow—at least for one night.
The Oscar winner, escorted by rock star husband Chris Martin, spent Monday in New York's Mount Sinai Hospital for a mystery malady.
The couple stayed the night and checked out Tuesday, according to publicist Stephen Huvane.
"Everything is fine—she is back at home," Huvane told E! News. "We are not commenting on the reason for her hospitalization, as it is personal."
While her camp was mum on the nature of her ailment, Paltrow, 35, is no stranger to the ER. She logged time on crutches last year after knee surgery. She bashed her knee on furniture while tending to her kids, Apple and Moses, during a Memorial Day weekend excursion at Steven Spielberg's beach house.
The star, who furiously guards her privacy, will be back in the public eye later this year promoting the May release of the comic book-based would-be blockbuster Iron Man, which also stars Robert Downey Jr.
She's also appearing in the PBS road trip series Spain...On the Road Again with celeb chef Mario Batali. The show is set to debut in September.
