The land of the recently concluded World Cup is already looking ahead to hosting the Summer Olympic Games of 2016, and they're not bemoaning their embarrassing loss in the meantime.
Oh no, they're busy parading their region's roundest rumps! So well-known for its bounteous backsides that they inspired the Brazil Butt Lift workout craze, the country just kicked off the Miss Bum Bum 2014 pageant.
The competition, which began on August 11 in São Paulo, has 27 contestants representing the nation's different states, facing off—or rather, butting off—to win the coveted prize of instant fanny fame and approx. $22,000 in derriere endorsement deals.
Yet, it's not the only contest that goes beyond the basic standards of beauty. Perhaps you've heard of (but probably not) some of these pageants: Miss Penitentiary, Miss Plastic, Miss Jumbo Queen, and Miss Russian Army.
