Elisabeth Hasselbeck labored on Friday. On Monday, she dished.

The youngest of The View cohosts announced during a phone call to the show Monday that she and footballing husband Tim have christened their newborn son Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck.

The 30-year-old two-time mother welcomed the boy in a Phoenix-area hospital after labor that lasted "forever...four or five thousand hours," with 35 minutes of just "pushing through."

According to Hasselbeck, Taylor tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and family relations are already going strong.

The Hasselbecks' firstborn, two-year-old Grace Elisabeth, "loves him. She has him on her lap this morning."

The glowing mother also assured her cohosts cum aunties that she is breast feeding the little one and that she has "big boobs like Sheri [Shepherd]."

Among the less TMI pieces of information Hasselbeck gave out during her celebratory phone call is her return date. The new mama will be back on the airwaves after enjoying the rest of her maternity leave on Jan. 7.

The Survivor alum and the 29-year-old NFL quarterback announced the delivery over the weekend, but held off on announcing the child's name pending Monday's View.

"Elisabeth and I are happy to announce the arrival of our son, and we're thrilled he arrived safely," Tim said in a statement released by ABC Saturday. "Grace is so excited to be a big sister."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck bowed out of the View almost three weeks earlier than expected last month, when she announced plans to hightail it to Arizona on Oct. 23 instead of her original exit date of Nov. 9. The plan-change came after Tim was signed by the Arizona Cardinals.

As it turns out, it was a good call—for Hasselbeck, not View producers. Had things gone as planned, she may have gone into labor during her departure show, as Taylor was born the morning of her would-be sendoff.
