Jaime Pressly has always had a high threshold for pain. She was, after all, a dancer for 25 years.

But after giving birth to her son, Dezi James Calvo, in 2007, the My Name is Earl star started experiencing unbearable symptoms.

"When I had my son, I got mastitis but I didn't know," she told the ladies of The Talk. "I just thought it was normal breast feeding pain."

Four years later, the actress discovered several lumps spread around her breasts. After several doctor visits and examinations, Presley would undergo an "almost full mastectomy."

"I still have some breast tissue left, just from the mastitis because it mutated into something else because it sat dormant for a while," Pressly said.  "But it was the craziest thing. Thank God it wasn't [cancer]."

Today, the actress looks and feels great as she continues working on her new TV show, Jennifer Falls.

Her positive attitude may have something to do with that cute new pixie cut.

When asked why she decided to cut her long locks, Pressly said she simply wanted to "make things easier" and get "rid of all that extra." You're looking fab, girl!
